Rebecca Liu
Rebecca is a Senior Product Designer specializing in Growth design. Currently, she leads design on the purchase flow (from the Plans and Pricing page checkout) at SurveyMonkey and has successfully increased conversion through experimentation. Previously, at Dropbox and Shopify, working on onboarding personalization and checkout optimization, she has been passionate about leveraging my expertise in experiment design to increase conversion and engagement metrics.
She was born in Toronto, grew up in Taiwan, moved to Vancouver for university, and now calls Toronto home again. She found her love for Product Design through a journey of searching for an interdisciplinary career that combines psychology with design and technology. After graduating with degrees in Psychology and Commerce from UBC, she decided to accelerate her design career by completing formal UX/ UI design studies at the RED Academy.
As a creative, it is crucial for her to design with a purpose. Aesthetically pleasing yet functional is what she strikes for every project. When she is not working on projects, she has a passion for travel to explore her interest in the arts.
